Leipzig Postkolonial invites you to take a tour through Leipzig to explore the colonial traces in our cityscape and everyday life: the Clara Zetkin Park, the Zoo Leipzig, the Grassi Museum, Leipzig University – all these institutions have a connection to the historical era of colonialism. We want to explore questions such as „How are racism and global inequality connected to the German and European colonial past?“ or „What does all of this have to do with us in Leipzig today?“
